TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iran said the five British sailors arrested after illegal entrance into Iran's water were released on Wednesday morning.

The Admiral of Iranian Sirri Island, located in Persian Gulf, said the five British sailors crossed into Iran's water near Sirri Island illegally as they were boarding a ferry.
Iran also said the British nationals were released after inquiry showed that their illegal entrance occurred unintentionally.
British Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that the five yachtsmen who were boarding a ship were captured on November 25 due to illegal entry into Iranian water.
It also said on Monday that the ferry was heading for Dubai from England when seized by Iran's navy forces.
